AI is just creating crunchy jpegs of copyrighted work and is trying to hide that fact by calling these machines "learning" machines instead of what they actually are: mediocre plagiarism machines. A xerox machine that doesn't work.

So true. I had this same struggle getting a new computer. It was hard to justify since mine still technically worked. But it was also a laptop from 2011 and probably already on borrowed time lol. But it's just so hard to justify, even though it is worth it and valid.
