She has closed a Harrell lead that was as large as 8 points in early results.

Having already seen my L.A. liberal SFH neighbors' willingness to exile their own children to Nevada and Utah rather than allow apartment construction on their block, I think they'd be perfectly willing to accept permanent electoral defeat too.
