Europa Universalis 5 is coming out in less than a month. Seeing how I spent nearly 3,000 hours in EU4, this may be the final nail in my coffin.

I will never buy or play a visual novel that uses AI art. I vastly prefer the lowest quality PC-98 cringiest artstyle imaginable, and I've played a few of those! At least it was made by a real artist.

Okay yes I have a large Steam backlog. And yes I KNOW that I will never actually play many of those games. But it's important to purchase and play games you don't like so you know what you will enjoy in the future.

When I was a kid I hated the Refusal of the Call trope before I ever knew what it was called. I couldn't understand why anyone would ever do such a thing.

Now that I'm older I now understand, but I still hate the trope. It's a lazy and boring way to create conflict, get something better!

Basically finished Fate Hollow/Ataraxia. Final impressions: half of it was enjoyable, but there was way, WAY too much slice-of-life. And I say this as someone who quite enjoyed the slice-of-life scenes in FS/N. It's very possible to have too much of a good thing!
