It’s always sad to come to the end of a well-loved series! The closest bets would be Young Sheldon or Modern Family, if you haven’t watched those yet. Kim’s Convenience and Speechless also have that tone, IMO

I was 8. It was Balto meets Beauty and the Beast. Literally. Disney sent a nice rejection note to my handwritten pitch letter, so I directed it at home.

Love that title page, Rob!

The magic phrase every screenwriter needs: 'I'll take a look at that.' Not 'yes' or 'no' — just breathing room. When an exec gives you a note that makes your stomach drop, this buys you time to find a solution you both love instead of a reaction you'll both regret.
