The real question on a national stage, do all his conflicting stances balance out, or doom him.

He could be the “I don’t agree with everything…” or the “fuck that guy” candidate, but no where in between.

But that is kind of my point, there is probably an equal amount of people who like him for that stance.

SF politics is fuckin’ weird man, and that’s where he comes from.

This is the chaos that everyone was trying to warn us about under socialism.

But is kind of him across the board. He does shit that a lot of people like, then follows it up with something a lot of different people like and the previous ones don’t.

He is the ultimate “he kinda sucks, but….” politician.

I am 30+ years in to a completely schizophrenic love/hate relationship with Gavin that started when I worked security at one of his wine events before he was mayor.

My main take away is that I have to give him points for consistency.
