Rivers' original demo doesn't have the life that the full band version does. But for one of these songs recorded on Rivers' handheld, it sounds pretty good.

Rivers would write another song with the same title in the leadup to Make Believe. And that's a really good one.

That's not to say I don't love the album. I just think it could be a lot better.

It was a special time when Weezer was making the album...

Andrew Gold's Lonely Boy has to be the whiniest song ever written.

He's got some lyrics for this bit and it's a shame that the quality isn't that great (and this was never used), because this tune is pretty damn catchy.

Will Arnett was on Conan and told a story about how Conan dealt with the death of his parents by accusing Jason Bateman of killing them. It’s so funny.

The full quote is lovely and effusive. Always good when the Sequel actors can see that they *are* loved and appreciated by fans.

This isn't meant to be a knock against Hurley. I enjoy the album (most of it).

But we've never heard the full story about how it was made or why the album was completely redone...

only wrote one chorus and verse. And there's a solo that repeats the melody (which was the style at the time). With a little bit of work, this could have been a totally acceptable Green song.
