Troy: The scope is very impressive and the grisly nature of the battles is intense but this overlong and quite silly film eventually exhausts, hammy acting and shrieking, bored women. Pitt looks the part but is wooden and Bloom drains every scene. Baba is terrific though.

I saw the new Naked Gun yesterday. The owl stuff doesn't really work and they really needed to let Huston go bigger but that aside I had an absolute blast. Perfectly cast and consistently funny with some sequences that had me in tears (the bodycam, the lodge montage). Would watch many sequels.
