Today was lovely. Beautiful warm weather as Delphine carried me on my scoot along Merri Creek, from Clifton Hill all the way to Bell Street. Home via Footscray, then a visit from Fiona to eat olive bread with garlic butter and watch Ted Lasso.

Like, the end logic of austerity is that the cheapest option would be to defund all social services altogether, but the part that makes it *funny* is that it's a simultaneous admission it wouldn't work. You can tell because they usually argue away from that: we understand the benefit....
