In our current view, this produces the chromatin architecture that leaves some regions open for transcription while others are more compacted & transcriptionally silent 1/n

By accepting Trump’s anti-Black premise and regurgitating the narrative that equates anything Black as DEI, the NY Times has become part of the propaganda machine

It’s probably a good day to explain to your non-scientist socials that graduate students are not merely the next generation of academic science, they are an important component of the current scientific labor force. Feel free to mention that this is cut rate labor as well.

I hope that everyone in the private sector who depends on federal grants to train their researchers and staff, pay for their services and products, or benefits in any other way from federal funding will come out to #standupforscience!
