"Cancorn" following the Clan fondness for portmanteaus, is the correct term. Canister Born > Can Born > Canned Corn > Can Corn > Cancorn (Derogatory)

I've been thinking more about this, and they might be right on about damage. Rapidly heating something will cause boiling, and that would cause secondary trauma. I wonder if joules are joules when it comes to damage.

It's my brother David's birthday, which means on this day in 1987 we started playing #battletech. MSRP of that box was $20, which is $56.71 today. MSRP of the Battletech box today is $59.99, but you get plastic miniatures instead of cardboard standees. You can find it for $40-45 online sometimes.

I don't know him, so I'm trying to give benefit of the doubt, but, "I designed 5e, but I don't know what safe gaming is," is a little sus, as the hip youth of today might say.

Oh, Mike... I think you meant well, but that is _not_ what "safe gaming" means. Like at all. The kids don't want games without fantasy peril, they want games without real-life peril. They don't want to be creeped out or upset at the table about real-life things.

It is now, got it now, Breast Fire! Magin go Mazin go Mazinger Z!), a giant super robut created by Go Nagai, standing over the diminutive form of a BattleTech Warhammer. They're really towering over it. I mean... It's SO TINY in comparison, right? Like, these guys are totally going to be all "How's the weather down there?" because, let's face it, as much as I love Mazinger Z and Godzilla, they can kinda both be jerks about stuff. Nobody's perfect. But guys... Just lay off that tiny Warhammer okay? Don't be rude. There's no need to be rude.

It's trying to be all of those things, so I don't know that it's going to do any of them well. I was going to buy for sure until I read the primer, now I'm not sure. It'll depend on retail price. 3/3

That said, reading the Universe Primer, I think this is a product that isn't sure what it wants to be. Is it mad scientist? Eldritch abomination? Alternate future? Just a reskin of Battletech? 2/
