BREAKING: Second Positive Phase 3 for Compass’ Psilocybin, Though Modest Magnitude Raises Questions - Psychedelic Alpha Psychedelic Alpha’s Josh Hardman reports from Washington, D.C., where conversations with regulators, lawmakers, and insiders suggest a turbulent but potentially transformative period ahead.

'Modest' is a very good word to describe these results.

I think Compass has just inadvertently proved how much value there is in the psychotherapy part of psychedelic medicine, at least when dealing with psilocybin for depression.

My late mother (whose sarcastic sense of humor was legendaryπŸ˜‡) would say to this: tell him to first go experience 20 hours of labor pain with no meds and then push for 2 hours to get a 5 kilo baby out and then sit up and start nursing that baby, and only THEN he can tell me what a good mother does

while the focus on eye color of invitee’s on this list is getting a lot of attention, the complete lack of women is going unnoticed - I guess sadly because that is more of a perceived β€œnormal” behavior

I know! That is why I thought it was fake.

I mean statistically speaking, tell me the probability of this many blue-eyed high level professionals appearing in a function in NYC…

Call me delusional but I am thinking more about improving the future vs blame. And for that our institutions have to do better- we cannot change human nature (there will always be morally bankrupt assholes among us) but we can hope for a system that does not allow these individuals to be successful

When I first saw this list of eye color designation on an Epstein's list of invited scientists and other luminaries, I thought it was fake - I mean who would do this??

But it is real: FTA00583600

I have a different take

Based on personal interactions, my take on these scientists is that they were weaselly arrogant assholes but can we shift the blame to institutions that enabled all this? And not just Ivys or MIT - e.g. Mt Sinai interacted with him/his staff for years AFTER his conviction

also some more recent evidence that EBV causes lupus. A vaccine that could wipe out TWO autoimmune diseases and we're not leaping at the chance to get it into people as soon as possible?

Opinion | Vinay Prasad’s Vaccine Kill Shot Does the White House know the harm he’s doing to public health?

WSJ editorial board hits FDA: It’s hard to recall a regulator who has done as much damage to medical innovation in as little time as Vinay Prasad who rejected Moderna’s mRNA flu vaccine without even a cursory review.

This was also reported at the NIH hospital this year. The number of patients now being treated at NIH, at the nation’s rare-disease research hospital, a source of hope for many, is way down.

One can see patterns here, and it’s terrible.

12.02.2026 03:19 β€” πŸ‘ 17    πŸ” 3    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Of course Vinay Prasad did.

RFK Jr’s cabinet of MDs are not basing their decisions on data or on evidence or on scienceβ€”instead they must please RFK Jr & adhere to his kooky MAHA ideology (yes to ivermectin, no to mRNA vaccines).

Moderna will sue, and they will win. Meanwhile they should move their company out of the USA, because this vaccine is going to be a blockbuster and earn them tens of billions.

Schizophrenia is probably the worst mental health diagnosis you can get. It's a horrible disease.

And remember, schizophrenics didn't ask for it. Nobody wants to have a mental illness. They deserve our love, understanding and support, not condemnation or judgment.
