This week's 9-1-1 opened with multiple people losing fingers in a game of tug-of-war. It is the greatest thing that I have seen on TV all year.

Just finished 'And Then There Were none,' which was great until all that exposition at the end. It was kind of the book version of the doctor explaining Norman Bates at the end of 'Psycho.' #BookSky

So last week I read Tart by Slutty Cheff and this week I'm listening to the audiobook Self Sabotage by Jeffrey Self so I guess my thing right now is funny, well-written books that I will never tell my mom I've read. #booksky

I'm really enjoying HBO's #Task, or as I like to call it "Mark of Eastown"

I've been rewatching Daria with my daughter, and, God, I forgot how good that show was. The first season finale, Misery Chick, and second season premiere, Arts and Crass are as good a one-two punch as TV has ever seen.

Also he kind of looked like the actor Paul Walter Hauser and I seriously couldn't have loved him more.

There's a Conan Gray concert tonight and the fan uniform is sailor PJs and hats. I was at dinner near the venue and saw a bunch of girls in the required outfits. At the table behind sat three girls in The Uniform and an older man, I assume a dad, wearing a Conan the Barbarian T-shirt. A king!

I finished Murder Takes a Vacation by @lauralippman.bsky.social today and immediately want a film adaptation with Margo Martindale as Mrs. Blossom.

The most relatable thing about this week's #TheLastOfUs is that, at meeting to talk about a potential vigilante mission, there's one guy who only wants to talk about agriculture and gets scolded for not staying on topic.

She's also the overachiever Amy in Booksmart. And frankly, maybe if Abby had a friend like Mollie this wouldn't have happened.

I have too much faith in Danny McBride as a TV creator to believe that his casting of Michael Rooker as a seemingly malevolent ex is not a blatant Sea Of Love homage. And I love it. #RighteousGemstones
