US Supreme Court lifts order that blocked Trump's mass federal layoffs The U.S. Supreme Court cleared the way on Tuesday for President Donald Trump's administration to resume carrying out mass job cuts and the restructuring of agencies, elements of his campaign to downsize and reshape the federal government.

This is bad news for federal workers, and for the principle that the president has to abide by laws and appropriations passed by Congress.
The Supreme Court majority are firmly on the side of unhindered executive power.
Not a healthy balance.

It’s even harder when you have a corrupt president, multiple corrupt senior Cabinet officers and members of Congress, and corrupt Supreme Court justices.

Supreme Court Clears Way for Mass Firings at Federal Agencies The justices announced they were not ruling on the legality of the specific downsizing plans but they allowed the Trump administration to proceed for now with its restructuring efforts.

Every Supreme Court ruling is “look, we’re not saying what Trump is doing is legal, we’re just saying we, the highest court in the land, will not stop him, and will prevent others from doing so.” They *know* it’s not legal, so they find other ways to allow it.
