The tories gave away billions in contracts to related parties without any competition in the bidding. Won’t believe this is the same until I see an analysis detailing the way that these contracts were given out.

This is it, the pumps are now dead. There will still be many buying the hype and gobbling up stock (including the equity issuance to fund the xAI investment which is coming round the corner), but from now on any smart money is dumping. Could be interesting given the premium harvesting on this one.

2bn of it is from change in working capital - eg inventory unwind which makes sense with the bump in demand before the EV credit expiry, and now the demand cliff

Absolutely - they are all heroes except Pete. He sat on his hands and did absolutely nothing whilst Musk got away with murder.

Sadly you are 100% right. Referendums are (rightly) a dirty word and this is never gonna happen but imagine one here. Choose to stand with allies at an economic cost or be a collaborator nation getting dirty money from the mob in the White House. The latter would win but the debates would be great.

In a way, if it dies dramatically it’s easier to blame the libs and save his aura and power - this company was doing so well until the evil bastards killed it! Step down as CEO, dump as much stock as he can and watch the fireworks. Given lack of regn, probably buy a few puts on the way down too?

EU should fund viable competitors to the big US tech companies and use regulation as a positive selling point.

Maybe generally but not this one, it’s a toxic bag of garbage which will never get back anywhere near to its former heights if the brand is even able to survive. The smart money is too smart to go for that, that is why Elon is begging the masses to hodl.
