I tried a few of these about a year ago, i.e war photography of mythical battles. For example battle of the pelenor fields from lord of the rings.

"Terrorism requires the use of violence against civilians"...it doesn't in UK law, the definition is broader and includes damage to property as a means of political influence, intimidation etc.

So some amateurs damaged vital military equipment... probably we should be more worried about the state of our military base security and asking questions about why it was so bad.

Countries should stop fearing Putin & Russia. Russian campaign in Ukraine has achieved pitiful gains compared to the carnage wrought on Rus military and economy. It's really a disaster for Putin, he will try to play it as a win and people will believe it because of the state controlled media.

China (by far), South Korea, Japan, Italy are the top 4 ship builders in the world. Innocent question, but why can't the UK have a ship building industry similar to that of South Korea, Japan or Italy?

Trump just wants a 'win', in this case the war to end, it doesn't matter to Trump how that looks to Ukraine. If he can claim he got US money back through a minerals deal even better, he 'wins' again. I don't think it's more complicated than that.

Trump wants a 'big win' which I think is any sort of peace deal (optics>substance), to do it he will make concessions to Russia, he gets a win (at Ukraine expense), he thinks he can handle Putin 1-1 later. He hates multi party deals like with the EU.

Trump has engaged in all these with Zelensky. Zelensky got baited on Friday and reacted, which was the optics (looks good on TV) that Trump wanted. Also the personal attack (dictator), and now escalating by stopping aid. Also a win/lose ('youve got no cards').
