Glad I wasn’t depending on that money to help me thru the lean times.

Seriously I’m grateful for the stipend but it was so chaotic on how they were processed and when they were ready for pickup.

So um, I came home with a new machine today. I wasn’t planning on adding a serger to my machine collection, but it really will be nice to have with all the garments I’m making now.

What a difference 12 hours makes. When I headed out to the picket line this morning, this #ParkerPile was pretty barren. Tonight the four dumpsters at Red Lion & Calera are overflowing and the street loaded with trash.

City workers shouldn’t have to fight for what they’ve already earned.
AFSCME DC33 workers are still waiting on a fair contract.

They deserve raises.
