Thanks! What I've done is describe the modeling problem without stating that I want a mixed effects model, despite it fitting the situation extremely well, and found it will not suggest one. Instead it suggests a solutions using regression, tree based models, gradient boosted machines, or ANNs.

Any way you could share an example prompt? I've tried this too (typically with Gemini Pro) and haven't gotten what I'm looking for.

I read it in about 11th grade, early aughts. We covered the symbolism and historical setting of course but what stuck with me was how the teacher used to demonstrate what is prose and how to appreciate it.
