As a pediatrician I’m truly horrified. How do we get here. I guess vaccines are a victim of their own success. I saw more kids in 6 weeks of pediatics ( medical student) with HIB meningitis in than I have since due to the HiB vaccine. Just wait they will go after that one too.

Please keep educating folks. When I ask about flu shot “ oh we never do that”. We don’t believe in the flu shot. We never get sick from the flu but we once got really sick from the shot. 🙏

Do they want to pay your malpractice rate and are they willing to put up their life savings if they get sued ? If I make the diagnosis I should be responsible for treatment. We take thorough histories and do physical exams and we interpret complex test results.

I guess if I was a shift worker it wouldn’t be as hard to budget my time to get it done. I not sure I enjoy painting rooms ( forget wallpaper that’s for experts) like I used to. I like having good contractors do good work AND clean up ! 😀🙏

I saw incredibly ill children with the measles when I was a resident in the early 90s. I still have memories of how sick those kids were and how we had to keep the rooms dark. Yikes!! Measles related pneumonia was awful!
