All these years later, adding “Evangelical” to our name can still be confusing to some folks.

To be clear, “Evangelical” means something very different for ELCA folks. For us, it’s about being a church that reaches out with the good news (the meaning of the Greek ευαγγέλιον/evangelion is “good message/news”). The name was also a combination of the three churches that formed the ELCA.

Honestly, I’d pull the trigger on that for this team. My daughter really wants to get to a game there and I’ve told her making the pep band might be the easiest option.

Two years ago my brother got last minute tickets for a non-conference game at $30/seat for himself and his daughter. Like “so close to tipoff I wasn’t sure we’d make it” last minute. Otherwise you ain’t getting tickets at face value unless you’re buying tickets from a friend.

Yes it absolutely is. Hardest ticket to get in college sports right now. I’ve seen SRO tickets for $200+ for some games.
