i bought so many clothes i didn't need today shopping for clothes actually just improves my mood and im not kidding

i am often a willing participant in this dynamic, sometimes enthusiastic, but yeah. sometimes you want reciprocation or mutuality, and then it blows. i'm not sure why this is either. like, it's bad manners, for one thing. where are people's manners? this is how i know i'm old.

in my day, flirting online meant messaging someone and asking for a photo of them and giving them attention. curiously, to me, the zoomers come into my DMs and send me pictures of themselves and talk about their troubles. they aren't interested in me, but they want my attention
