ICE just showed up at our house for the second day in a row. Four cars yesterday, today five. They rolled up slow, then got out to taunt us, and take pictures of the house. They want fear to overwhelm us, to project a fantasy of power meant to intimidate, isolate, produce obedience—not happening.

remember what JD Vance said of the ICE agents that arrested this little boy: “what did you expect them to do?”

I spent the evening outside the Whipple federal building in Minneapolis, where the feds have been releasing people they detained — often for no discernible reason — into the freezing cold... wearing whatever little clothing they had on at the time they were taken.

This administration is repulsive

It may also backfire when people see how violent and indiscriminate DHS is being.

This would be DHS's first major push into a red state. Ohio has a Republican governor and Springfield has a Republican mayor.

Doing this with the support of city and state officials (unlike in California, Illinois or Minnesota) could be brutal and horrific.
