Dude. I have been the benefits admin. Our payroll provider dictated how many plans we could offer (no more than 4) and we made decisions of which of the, say, 20 options available we would offer the team balancing costs, deductibles and out of pocket maxes. There was no secret great other option

Oh boy. That’s just not how this works. There’s often a cap on how many plans can be offered by the company and they need to make strategic decisions about which it will be. Also the point is that there.. aren’t cheap options anymore
