As long as we are reactive, our ceiling is the volume of inbound proposals. Council should consider RFPs to build City-funded housing. We can do more, faster.

My representation to the Assembly made many of the same points, plus one more: amalgamation will become a distraction for both Councils and compete with other issues for attention. The most admirable aspect of the American protests is their unwavering clarity that there need to be, for a people to be free and equal, "no kings".

A functioning immigration system requires policy stability. A range of solutions from guest worker status to full citizenship can be the right answer, but that answer cannot change mid-flight or differ for each person as the result of a black box process.

This bears repeating. Housing supply, even if not designated "affordable", increases the affordability of housing through chain effects.

I have been a Canadian for almost the entirety of my adult life, and this is one of the better plan I have seen from any federal party. It's not perfect, but it's very, very good.

I would like to take a moment to appreciate the minimal and direct style that you are using here. Quite aside from the content, which is a useful reminder in itself, it's refreshing to read something as straightforward and to the point as this.

This is nothing. Canada could have printed thirty years' worth of white papers about trains in this time.

What I found most baffling is the claim that abundance through technological progress is a failed attempt to escape history, when history is a record of its repeated success.
