Hi all, We're hurting on money and could use help making sure we have enough for basic necessities and bills. We're all caught up with rent for this month, but next month might be difficult and our monthly earnings have still been struggling. On top of that, summer isn't far away and my partner has a much harder time finding work during the summer. Our energy costs are also likely to go up during the hot months. I'm worried about being able to make it through. About $1000 should be plenty to make sure we can pay next month, buy food/medicine/gas, and save a little from this month's earnings to help buffer for the summer. The policy of degendering us is explicitly a form of epistemic violence. Its purpose is denying that any harm we face is worth preventing.

We are defined out of being considered subjects that meaningfully face misogyny or sexual violence, and in fact reconstructed as perpetrators.

Tomorrow is the tenth anniversary of the death of Leelah Alcorn. She was a trans girl who was 17 years old when she died.

Trans people need to be seen as autonomous decision-making agents, not dependent on cis people for legal/policy permission to make choices, just like abortion seekers need to be able to make a free choice over their bodies without depending on an overseer state.

But our expectations for you at this point are almost nonexistent. You won’t even acknowledge our concerns. You refuse to even communicate with us. We don't want a world where trans identity is the domain of medical gatekeepers deigning to "allow" us access to the care we deserve. Nor do we want a world where the necessity of that care is backgrounded in favor of toothless validity politics.

We need transition on demand, over the counter.

That "indie" is where innovation happens generally isn't true anymore. We iterate to breakthroughs. At large, indie is more risk-averse & homogenous than it's been - publishers gatekeep, focus on graphics, and balloon budgets. Innovation comes from self-published games launching their practice game.
