Greeting from suburban Hell. I sprained my ankle so I am off my feet for the rest of the week. I am watching PBS miniseries and knitting. I heard we had a special visitor yesterday. It’s a shame she didn’t get what she wanted, but that’s not going to stop her from spreading lies and misinformation.

Guess who didn’t break her ankle? Now I get to stay off my feet until the swelling goes down and try and use some crutches.

Greetings from Hell. Today I sprayed my hydrangeas with copper fungicide. I am apprehensive to cut them since they are young and the new flower buds are coming in and need protection. I gave the spooky black cats who live in my yard some cuddles. This afternoon I’ll finish planting the spring bulbs

Greetings from Hell. I am working on knitting a circular blanket out. Going thrifting later and cleaning out the art studio. It’s amazing how all we are considered soft and sensitive while being the most terrifying combatants. It makes me wonder if they are just scared of community and creativity.

They are gone. 15 days in the middle of the parking lot. It’s bittersweet. I’ve started thinking of the underwear as part of the landscape.

Friendly reminder to visitors and new transplants we are in the rainy season. Make sure you have good tread on your tires and drive slower. Always turn on your lights for visibility. Increase stopping distance. You will slide into another car if you make a quick stop.

Greetings from Hell. I finished an art piece yesterday and worked a shift at the shop. The most terrifying thing happened when a Nissan Altima with out of state plates hydroplaned down the hill into traffic narrowly hitting my car. I gave them a thumbs down as they recklessly drove onto the freeway.

I have recently met tourists who have shared this with me. I am always stunned. They are in the state a short drive from downtown and still believe the propaganda. No matter what I share with them they refuse to believe differently.

I thought I lost my recent batch of home made granola. It turns out the teenager of the house decided to take it for a late night snack. I’ll have to make more and pick up some more yogurt.

Greetings from Hell. The guard is in my suburb getting brief on their mission. I hope they are learning how to properly remove leaves from storm drains. It’s messy and uncomfortable work. Flooded intersections are the greatest threat to our city and region.

I sent an angry email to our governor. Not because of her politics, but because I received a campaign donation request using the National Guard Deployment to squeeze campaign donations out of a sad frustrated constituents.

Greetings from Hell. I planted crocus bulbs yesterday and today I have an assortment of daffodils to get into the ground. Finished one of my art pieces for an upcoming show. The temperature is dropping so I cut the remaining tomatoes of the vines to finish ripening indoors.

We all went for a walk around the neighborhood and then went to trivia night at the coffee shop. Our team won. Then I picked a plate of tacos for dinner. I don’t know how we can keep living under these conditions.

Greetings from Hell, well He’ll Adjacent. Yesterday I went to a secluded parking lot and met two people we exchanged packages under cover of clouds and rain. I traded half a loaf of banana bread for three slices of white chocolate raspberry cheesecake.

The horrors will continue this afternoon with a good book and knitting while waiting school pickup line.

I am off to the art studio to listen to make some fabric and paper phallic art while listening to a local non profit radio station.
