In Canada every person who is employed or not is entitled to treatment. If you do work and pay for extra benefits, bonus to you. However, one should not be put into bankruptcy due to care by a doctor or a stay in a hospital. That is not the Canadian 🇨🇦 way.

Actually, in Canada a total of five relevant political parties at the national level have seats in the House of Commons. We also use the first-past-post system for elections. While I'd prefer a more progressive electoral system, this one works, and sometimes delivers minority governments.

How about opening representation to a third or fourth party. Aren't you sick of only two flavours?

I am not as opposed to nuclear energy as I was in my early adulthood. Canada has a good track record of managing reactors safely. Short of catastrophic events nuclear seems cleaner than fossil fuels.
