What's the worst that can happen if the Greens win the Gorton By-election?

Labour will realise they need to be more worried about appealing to the left instead of the hard right.

What we all really need to do is demand the Labour party give us a fairer voting system.

"There’s only one way we are going to get the electoral system we want, and that is to vote for the parties we want.

While Labour offers disappointment and frustration, and Reform offers hatred and division, they offer hope and inspiration."

"The only credible constituency-level poll so far, released by Omnisis on 20 February, fits our overall analysis.

If progressive voters coalesced behind one candidate, it is the Greens who would have the best chance."

Omnisis poll predicts Greens to win the Gorton By-election.

The Omnisis poll found that:

- 20% of people in the constituency said they will vote for Green candidate Hannah Spencer

- 17% said they would back Reform UK’s Matt Goodwin

- Labour’s Angeliki Stogia polled at 15%

Reminds me of some of the Labour supporters who repeatedly say they will never forgive the Lib Dems for supporting austerity, and yet they seem perfectly capable of forgiving Labour for the Iraq War which killed 500,000.

It's as if some lives matter more than others.

50,000 families to gain nothing despite end of two child benefit cap, DWP reveals A further 20,000 will only see limited gains, official assessment confirms

Labour keep losing members to the Green Party. Here's one way to prevent this.

50,000 people are still being punished by the OTHER benefit cap.

Labour can use a small amount of the budget surplus to end this cruel policy. If they don't, expect more members to leave the party.

Reform UK suspends by-election campaign activist over ‘antisemitic and misogynistic’ posts EXCLUSIVE: Adam Mitula, Reform UK’s interim campaign manager in Tameside, has been assisting Matt Goodwin's Gorton and Denton by-election campaign

So it turns out Matt Goodwin's Reform campaign manager was a holocaust-denying Nazi who said he would "never touch a Jewish woman.”

When do we start seeing all the coverage of the antisemitism crisis in Reform UK?

In an internal document, the company wrote that the timing is good because civil society groups are busy with politics and won't cause problems.

That's an opinion but not green party policy which is made by the members.

Just means he'd like it to be discussed as an option.

Nice try. Green party policy:

‘The Green Party recognises that NATO has an important role in ensuring the ability of its member states to respond to threats to their security’.

As opposed to Labour who willingly gave the US dictatorship access to our sensitive data via Palantir.

ICE to spend $38bn turning warehouses into detention centers, documents show US homeland security eyeing 24 buildings, some as ‘primary locations’ for deportations, in escalation of Trump agenda US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) expects to spend an estimated $38.3bn on a plan to acquire warehouses across the country and retrofit them into new immigration detention centers with capacity for tens of thousands of detainees, according to documents the agency sent to the governor of New Hampshire. The documents, published on the state’s website on Thursday, disclose that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) estimates it will spend $158m retrofitting a new detention facility in Merrimack, New Hampshire, and an additional estimated $146m to operate the facility in the first three years. ICE Is Crashing the US Court System in Minnesota Petitions demanding people get the chance to be released from ICE custody have overwhelmed courts throughout the US.

Since ICE’s Operation Metro Surge began in Minnesota in December, federal immigration agents have arrested some 4,000 people, according to the DHS. The result is an avalanche of cases filed on behalf of people challenging their imprisonment—and it’s pushing the US court system to a breaking point.

Palantir is hand in glove with the Trump administration, which is riddled with Russian assets..

It's likely that any sensitive UK military data the Trump administration gets its hands on will be passed on to Putin.

It's absolutely insane to put Palantir technology at the heart of UK defence.

That's convenient for us.

Sounds suspiciously like our policy of not taking in refugees because we're not the first country we come through.

Shall we leave Poland, Latvia, Estonia and Finland to deal with Russia?!
