26.01.2026 04:40 β π 10 π 3 π¬ 0 π 0POSITIVE SELF TALK SOUNDS LIKE... I am patient with my progress. My feelings are valid, even if they are messy or unclear. My boundaries are healthy, loving, and necessary. Growth looks different everyday, and that's okay I am learning, growing, and allowed to make mistakes. I accept myself as I am while allowing myself to evolve. @selfcarexpress

Pinus banksiana cones are strongly serotinous in populations in the center of the speciesβ range, but less so at the edges of its range (where fires are less frequent). It's a bet-hedging strategy to ensure seedling establishment. π·: Taylor Justason CCBYNC4. #Pinaceae #serotiny #Botany πΎπ§ͺπ±

Cinnamon tree leaves and flowers! The flowers are like tiny lilies. Lovely.
A closeup of cinnamon flowers!
My cinnamon tree has flowered! The flowers smell sweet and floral, not cinnamon-y at all. This makes sense as the cinnamon is a bug deterrent in the tree flesh. Flowers are a bug attractant! Iβve never seen this before. Growing plants is awesome.
