Thanks to @billmckibben.bsky.social, I knew Pakistan—not exactly in the best of shape—was way ahead of us in the move to renewables. Now I learn that Ukraine—a country being regularly bombed by Putin—is, too.

Meanwhile our president is giving it up for his pals in oil & gas.

He knows it. They know it. They've always known it. Amongst themselves, they joke about it. They tell stories about it. They swap advice on how to deal with it.
