Working with bones, IK and constraints in visionOS without a visual representation is hell, so I decided to experiment with everything in Houdini and then export somehow.

However, Blender is still the best choice for most visionOS devs. Nothing super specific about USD but enough for most common creating/editing and it's free!
It would be great if Blender added more tools/plugins for work with USD.
I'm trying Houdini now and it gives you a lot of info about USD for deep understanding and control.
You can use an Indie License ($269 per year) under 100K revenue which is great.
Maya is good for big complex scenes using different USD tools like variants, layers, etc for non-destructive collaborations.
However, it's not the case for most visionOS devs, and costs too much. ($1945 per year)
I tried Blender, Maya, and Houdini with USD and have some thoughts...
