Yesterday I played a mega game on Operation Market Garden. Played with c100 others over 3 venues & online. Umpires managed the game as a double blind with each team having their own map. I led 43rd Div to Eindhoven. It was a great experience. I'm planning to run a smaller mega game at PunchedCON.26

I just hope we (UK and Europe) continue to back our Ukrainian friends.

Things looked bad for us after 3 years of war with Germany.

A Sunday well spent. Not as satisfying as the Saturn V rocket. The tower got repetitive at points, but the detail is great once it is finished. Wish there was a gantry kit for the Saturn V kit.

It is all quite alarming.

A new year begins, so it's time for me to mentally switch gear and start preparing to run Wing and a Prayer again in four months.

I'm really proud of WaaP - it's a female-centred LARP about the Women's Auxiliary Air Force in the Battle of Britain which we ran twice in 2018 and 2019. /1

Same - much nicer here. Can just follow wargaming and defence without all the inflammatory nonsense clogging up my feed.

Don't Get Got... fantastic party game! Most delightfully paranoid Christmas as everyone had 6 secret missions to complete!

There are loads of great indie games.

It's a bit like movies. Plenty of marvel-alike churn, but still some gems getting made.

Death of Stalin still a standout film for me!
