South Korea officially recognises same-sex couples in national census South Korea has officially announced it plans to recognise same-sex couples in the upcoming national census.

"South Korea is finally recognizing same-sex couples after announcing it will acknowledge them in the national census.

Under newly announced policy changes, the Ministry of Data and Statistics will recognize same-sex couples living in the same household in the Population and Housing Census."

It's not ok to use misogyny against women politicians, even if they're awful.

It's not ok to use racism against Black politicians, even if they're awful.

It's not ok to use ableism against disabled politicians, even if they're awful.

Its not that using ableist language is "offensive" alone, it is in that using ableist epithets, we normalize the idea that disability is a state of undesirable, laughable inferiority and otherness, and that disabled people deserve to the butt of the joke for some intrinsic reason--its insidious

You don't have to choose between hating disabled people and loving or hating a political figure

There are better ways to insult people. Don't fuck with disabled people, because it's literally wrong, and hurtful to mainstream that behavior toward us
