A cool technological advancement I saw this week is from Roche, sequencing by expansion. Combining the speed and sensitivity of nanopore methods with clever sample prep to increase resolution. Very accessible and informative video here:

Awesome! Have you tried looking at these samples with a lightsheet method? Large FOV deep images sound useful if you can do this in tissue slices etc!

Thanks so much! Yes, we're trying to combine emerging technologies in 3D cell culture and imaging to do just that. There's a long way to go but it's a great field to be in and motivation comes very easily knowing the clinical need!
