It’s lose lose if you have a revolving credit mortgage. Paying direct out of a cash account makes no sense with this arrangement. It works best if you put everything on your credit card to max out the interest free period, but then you’re stung with around $100 card fees a month. That’s real money.

It’s like GST being raised to 17% but the extra 2% doesn’t get spent on the nice things.
