I love eggs in all forms and used to have hard boiled ones around as protein snacks but for months they all tasted rancid to me. It eventually corrected thank god.

That happened to me the first time I got it. I could handle no taste but I broke down sobbing because I couldn't smell my dog. Good news is our olfactory senses are so much more nuanced than taste, so smells coming back is a good sign! Taste buds will follow though may be wired "wrong" for a bit.

The ability to feel pain from heat is separate from our sense of smell and taste. The heat sensation is pain receptors being triggered. So a lot of people lose flavor but are still able to feel spicy food with covid. Sadly not sure it would help someone on hot ones 🤣

Brief break from LA fighting the empire to announce I am officially a guest at Star Trek Vegas this year 🥰

The LAPD beat a woman I know today while peacefully protesting. She uses a cane as a walking aid because she is disabled. They knocked it out from under her and then beat her to the ground.

If anyone has footage so we can possibly identify the officers who did this, please let me know.

In case anyone is worried AFAIK I am not sick. Just taking precautions in airports / highly trafficked spaces. New covid strain sounds like a real nightmare.
