Folx, I'm not going to get het up over the meaning of yesterday's White House meeting or MTG; nobody should idolize anyone and future actions will tell. I'm going to be resolutely Zen and keep trying to "touch grass," as all the cool cats out there say.

I really miss last year's lifestyle.

The Trump and Mamdani meeting yesterday had that surreal feeling of when a player in DnD maxes out on a charisma roll against a tough opponent and ends up BFFs.

Nothing like finding out a country changed its name over 20 yrs ago and only finding out today to make me feel old and equally outdated.

Only other seasoned knitters know the agony of going thru The Stash and finding the odd balls saved for mending socks which have long since been lost.

Still vexed it was the ONLY audiobook option, though. There were probably pragmatic reasons for this, but if I had sensory issues I could NOT have stuck it out.

To complete a series I had to listen to about 5 GraphicAudio recordings and I concede it wasn't bad like the first couple times I attempted it with other books. Man, I hate not being right 100% of the time lol
