Often omitted from early social web stories is how folks were driven by content/art/society etc. Hlad itโ€™s included in arc of this story.

You should know that a big part of 18F's work was to make sure multi-million to multi-*hundreds*-of-millions dollar contracts at fed *and* state level didn't go to shitty enterprise IT consultancies that *repeatedly* delivered tech that didn't work, was late, or didn't even do what it needed to

Iโ€™m revisiting and ruminating on Granovetterโ€™s โ€œstrength of weak tiesโ€ in 2025 โ€” how is it holding up? A few questions to start:

-Do we naturally crave stronger ties as we age, or has tech/social media changed driven change?

-Are weak ties holding up in our current zeitgeist?
