Apart from those questions, it's a well designed, thoughtful, paper with a coherent restatement of its mission.
The only thing I'm not keen on is the Tortoise news-simplification house style, with graphics telling me which stories are worth noting.
I get the idea, but it's terribly subjective!

Will the paper continue to be part of my Guardian subscription?
Will the entire weekend's match reviews feature in an expanded Monday sports section?

Match reviews from yesterday are conspicuous by their absence (they're on the Guardian website), but there's some good feature writing.

Rory Smith is in the sports section (has he left NYT, then?) and has a new football podcast with mostly Guardian colleagues.

Not sure the new Observer is on here yet?
The paper turned up in my Guardian Editions feed this morning and there's a good selection of existing and new writers.
