When Photoshop was first becoming a big thing a lot of photographers started shouting, "It's sin! Photography should be simple and pure!" So, I'd send them this dark room graphic. Photography was never simple and pure. It's just the tools that have changed.

One of my favorite shots from BRAM STOKER’S DRACULA (1992). It’s an oversized journal prop with a miniature train. Fairly certain that the great Peter Ramsey boarded this scene. A unique combination of art history and Victorian era magic tricks, they don’t make ‘em like this anymore.
