I think it is that the Holocaust Museum Board, which had been purged and stuffed with Trump appointees, objected to Gov. Walz comparing families hiding in Minneapolis to Anne Frank, a comparison which seemed perfectly reasonable to me. Other people have compared ICE to the gestapo-- also reasonable.

I went to a great party! Saw friends who've been housebound for almost two months; another friend's baby crawled for the first time; we danced. Restorative. This morning my kid facetimed me from her dorm, and we talked for an hour.
The world is terrible, but she is a miracle.

I am a failed vegetarian.
I eat chicken and fish and I occasionally eat mammals, if someone offers them to me and did not know that generally speaking, I don't eat things with brown eyes.
I also did not grow up eating pork.
But sometimes I wish I ate everything and didn't care.

It is not necessary to repost Trump’s disgusting racist post. You can describe it. You can remind people he’s always been like this and they should have worked harder to keep him out of office.

I will not amplify the disgusting racist image that Trump posted of the Obamas, but I will say that he has always been a disgusting racist. And it’s a terrible blight on our country that the poison of racism continues to fuel the fortune of a low-life like him.

The last few years have been awful.
They were stellar during Trump I, when the Times was failing.
