RIP Catherine O'Hara
Gosh, this one hurts so much, especially when you think about how much terrific stuff she had been in with her great performances.
Weβre proud to present the debut of Donkey Dong Cunty performing βSnake Eater.β Huge thanks to Rock M Sakura for transforming Rocco into his drag persona!

Saw 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple today. There's one scene in the last act that's probably my favorite scene from the entire series. That entire last act was so satisfying.
Pretty awesome movie
Screencap of Flow, Lupin the 3rd vs Cat's Eye, Lord of the Rings: The War of Rohirrim, and Here Come the Littles.
Starting the year with some animation

My grandmother used to make this as well. When she passed, I was able to look through and keep her many, many recipes. Was able to find this one, so I'll definitely try making it sometime in the future.
26.12.2025 02:07 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Scene from the Star Trek The Next Generation movie, "The One with the Flowey Ribbon Monster that Sends You To Nirvana." Picard, looking out of place in his uniform, is walking through a bougie Victorian home that is decorated for Christmas. There's a large Christmas tree filled with lights and bright colors, and a couple of ornate toy horses that aren't huge but aren't small either, and a large red and white candy cane? Sort of looks like a barber shop pole, and it extends through the whole picture, I think it's a carousel thing for the horse we discussed earlier in this alt text. Anyways, the rest of the house is just normal old fancy house stuff, furniture, drapes, chandelier, lamps, etc. No caption, but you know, because like, it's Christmas next week and all.

There's swamp in my thing, there's thing in my swamp.
Never really has any bit of fun with the property, although Ray Wise seemed to be having a blast. I kept getting a feeling that this could have been a multi season 80s TV show with how it looked and how the acting was.
Movie 30 - Magic
Slappy: The Beginning
The pressures of mental health with careers, pleasure, and just living life can manifest in many possible ways, we see how Corky and Fats handle it... it's not well.
Some very fine acting and directing, with an often melancholy and sinister soundtrack.
Movie 29 - House II: The Second Story
A weird movie from the get go, and a big change from the first movie. It now being a complete comedy made it tougher to connect with the characters and their situation, but it was fun.
Many designs are pretty cool, especially that stop-motion horse
If someone had told me years ago that I would love the sequel as much as the original, I would have not believed them. Can't believe they pulled it off. Heck, 3 and 4 are also up there as well

Movie 28 - The Company of Wolves
Very surreal and fairy tale-like, which absolutely nails what they were going for.
Those transformation sequences are extremely brutal, wow.
Overall, pretty fun for a re-imagining of a classic tale. Oh, and Angela Lansbury is just icing on the cake.
Movie 27 - 28 Years Later
After not liking 28 Weeks Later, this is such a fantastic turnaround for the series.
What starts off as a typical zombie movie, then takes a big shift when Dr. Kelson is introduced. That entire act was so effectively sad.
Then that ending. Oh my god, amazing!
Seriously, take a listen to this. I got it randomly recommended to me on Spotify a couple years ago and months later I looked more into it and saw it came from a movie. It's so damn gooooood.

Movie 26 - Tenebre
The best theme song I've heard from any movie ever! A relatively quiet film, but once it kicks in, you know something is gonna hit the fan.
Once everything starts coming together in the third act, it gets so damn good. Love that ending!
Those were also some great blood effects.
Movie 25 - The Ruins
It's a great set up for a horror movie and the gore effects were very good. However, the pacing is off at times, and the climax just doesn't feel like it is the climax. The ending falls flat, but the alt ending and deleted scenes help answer many questions.
Movie 24 - Campfire Tales
The twist is obvious within the first minute. The stories they adapted just didn't seem like those that need to be in a movie like this. And worst of all, it was so dull.
I believe you. I believe you so much, that I won't look in the bag labeled "Puppies"
