Andrew Neil’s latest column of shitspangle. This time ‘explaining’ that Donald Trump’s depravity has only become clear in the last week.
The last *seven days*?
What *we* have *always feared*?
What an irredeemable fraud he is.
Gets a whole chapter in ‘How They Broke Britain’.
And here he is now, ‘seeing the light’.
Danny Dyer voiceover: “Twat.”
"At a time when billionaires and oligarchs own the majority of our press, when local journalism is in decline, and social media is rife with misinformation and abuse, there has never been a greater need for citizen journalism."

Freedom of Movement was robbed from us by a successful Russian influence operation and the worst abuses of democracy in modern British history.

If you believe we should remove loopholes allowing wealthy foreign individuals to make donations into UK political parties, sign & share petition.parliament.uk/petitions/70...
Done 👍

To see off populists, Labour needs to invest in public services & local communities, making a real difference to people’s lives - levy a wealth tax & use it to improve people’s lives *now*

To stop the tide of the far right and fascism these issues must be addressed.
I too was disappointed to hear that it hadn’t been renewed. Really enjoyed the first season.

It's time to turbocharge our economy by forming a Customs Union with the EU, tearing down the trade barriers and red tape holding us back.
Lovely humans,
I'm training to run a half-marathon for @scotrefugeecouncil.bsky.social in May!
I only started running last year so this is a big challenge for me - but I know the challenge for refugees to rebuild their lives is even greater.
All donations/shares would be HUGELY appreciated!! ❤️❤️❤️
The UK needs to lead in Europe again. We can't rely on Trump, and Labour hasn't shown the urgency or ambition to fix our relationship with our closest neighbours.
A UK-EU customs union is the first step repairing that relationship.

Michael Heseltine is 100% correct when he says Brexiteers sold Britain a “pack of lies” called for UK to rejoin the EU
The former deputy PM said the UK should be “at the heart of Europe” & returning to the bloc would be “in the best interests of a generation of young British people.”

I’m delighted to announce that all articles from all Bylines publications now have a share on Bluesky button 🦋 at the top of the article- in first place.
Try it out.

Why is the government happy to cosy up to China, but won't even look at a better customs deal with our closest neighbours in Europe?
Ministers say they’re looking everywhere for growth but are ignoring what is staring them in the face.
Fact-checking is not censorship.
Requesting evidence is not censorship.
Refuting falsehoods is not censorship.
Stopping a lie from travelling halfway round the world before the truth has got its boots on is not censorship.
But Zuckerberg's grovelling to Trump will sure as hell lead to censorship.
Musk is just another gullible & ignorant Twitter user...
He's just as easily radicalised by the guff he reads & watches as Johnny 12 numbers
The difference is...
He owns the platform
He owns Trump
And he'll own our politcians here if we don't wake up to this threat.

Such a moronic accusation.
What does it even mean?
Having a functioning relationship with our own continent?
Not being diplomatically incontinent?
Finding ways to collaborate and improve opportunities, travel and trade?
Great.
Brexit betrayed us
Very happy to betray it right back.

“The economic cost of Brexit, reliably estimated at around 5% of GDP and with a total loss to government coffers by 2035 of over £300bn, is unlikely to be offset by attempting to ‘make Brexit work’ – a slogan which rather confirms that it hasn’t”
