Brexit Effect:
UK GDP down 8%
Investment down 18%
Productivity down 4%
Employment down 4%
Immigration not cut
No trade benefits
No regulatory freedom
Why do some still vote for Farage?

So tell me again how Nigel Farage, who just took the largest ever political donation, from a Tory mega-donor, and another donation from the Viscountess wife of the non-dom owner of the Daily Mail, is planning to "take on the establishment"

Scary.
Political parties should be focused on voters not donors.
For as long as mega donations like this are permitted, voters will rightly suspect that their interests come second to those of wealthy donors.
A donations cap would show that politics can’t be bought.

This is not normal

The way that people consume media and the content of the media that they consume it is fracturing our society.

We don't lack technical solutions, but we lack the power to rein in destructive industries and break their stranglehold over governments and popular narratives
It's all bad but hadn't seen the bit where Farage says:
"The European Union is the prototype for the New World Order."
That is a seriously, deeply problematic term that taps into Illuminati and antisemitic conspiracy theories.
How the fuck did this man direct the course of our politics?
Heard on BBC 6 Music news bulletin:
"24,000 homes in Tunbridge Wells are still without water after a problem that had interupted supplies since Saturday recurred."
Next item: "Thames Water has posted £400 mn profits after increasing bills by a third"
This is water. Why are we allowing this?
A scandal indeed.

They smeared those opposed to this as being driven by hatred of Jewish people.
Now listen to what the West Midlands Chief Constable told MPs.
What a scandal.
We kept the receipts. These comments, taken together, paint a picture of the man he is today.

Our economic woes are caused by Brexit, (Ukraine), Covid, Brexit’s ugly baby - our dismal immigration policy, Truss budget, 14yrs of austerity…
All rightwing policies.
Quite mad that our media acts as if Labour’s budget is the end of days, when they failed to adequately scrutinise any of
that👆shit.
I think this graph says a lot. An authoritarian regime is soon going to be the world superpower. What’s it going to mean?

Shameful stuff.

Went to the pub this week, and the main topic of conversation was immigration. Like that’s the most important thing in the UK right now. 🙄
IMAGE: A BLACK HOLE. TEXT: Labour's Budget A £90BN BREXIT BLACK HOLE
This Government has chosen to reject the single biggest thing it could do to turbocharge economic growth and repair the £90 billion Brexit black hole.
For millions of people struggling with higher bills this was a botched budget.
I can tell you as a parent that it’s very very difficult.
