A few days ago a missile hit one of my favorite places: the lab where I spend almost every day of the last 3 years, where I grew up professionally and personally.
As Odin said: Asgard is not a place; itโs a people. Where the people are, the science will continue to be.
We will rebuild!

It took me so long to feel โback like myselfโ after my first pregnancy. In some senses, I never did. This amazing mega-scale study by my lab mates researches the dynamics of different systems during pregnancy, and finally gives an explanation to these feelings I had.
A must read!

Title:
SOME GRAMMATICAL VOICES FOR USE IN SCIENTIFIC WRITING
ACTIVE VOICE
e.g.
Our team collected samples and then we tested them.
CLICKBAIT VOICE
e.g.
We collected some samples...
You won't believe what happened next!
PASSIVE VOICE
e.g.
Samples were collected and tested.
HAIKU VOICE
e.g.
Quiet science lab.
Workers arrive with samples.
The testing begins.
PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVE VOICE
e.g. We did all the collecting and testing.
No need to thank us.
Just doing our job.
CONSPIRACY VOICE
e.g.
Mysterious "Samples" were harvested and covertly "tested" by so-called scientists.

Yesterday, after just a few back-and-forth with chatGPT, I created my more updated website. It now doesn't have pictures of dogs, but you can find there my research interests, my publications, and some cool links to things I do.
Check it out!

When I was 8 or 9 years old, my father taught me some basic html to make my own website. I don't exactly remember what it was about - maybe about dogs? Anyway, it was very basic, and took a lot of blood, sweat and tears to produce.

Preparing and giving this talk had been a great opportunity, thanks to the greatest coach Inbar Amir (look her up) and of course the Azrieli Foundation.

As a child I really wanted to be a doctor. So how did I end up a PhD student combining physics and immunology, standing in front of a crowd talking about trashy Netflix shows and toilet tanks? ๐ค Watch it all come together at the talk I gave at the last Azrieli fellows forum.
