As an old guy about to enter the legal profession, I can say bug firms would love their new hires to have the "get good grades" attitude to work. Likely worse in finance.

And in fairness, there are plenty of people willing to say boiling pasta, browning ground beef, and dumping in a bottle of sauce isn't cooking. I think we can agree they're the true villains.

And, like, basically zero abstraction from that.

Where I'm from people just... Cook their meals. Like, not cooking is the luxury. I definitely get that the math is different in say NYC, but this whole "suggesting people cook is elitist" discourse is genuinely baffling to me.
