Research replication can determine how well science is working – but how do scientists replicate studies? Replication research can take the temperature on how accurate science in a given field is, but research replication is easier said than done.

I wrote a popular press article about Replication Research! First time writing like this, but it was pretty fun. theconversation.com/research-rep...

I actually really like getting the emails to see how others reviewed the manuscript. But not as much as I like getting decisions on my own manuscripts.

I once silently stood next to Michael Fassbender at the airport while we saw several people who ordered after us get their food before we did. We made eye contact after the fourth person got their food. I did not have the courage to look back when my order came up.

β€˜A big win’: Dubious statistical results are becoming less common in psychology Fewer papers are reporting findings on the border of statistical significance, a potential marker of dodgy research practices

Thrilled to see a news piece by @science.org on my recent paper. By analyzing p-values across >240k papers, the study suggests that the rate of statistically questionable findings in psychology has declined since the replication crisis began
