Children vary! We see this variation everywhere - within households, classrooms, and schools, but also in cross-cultural comparisons. We even see substantial variation within individual children from day to day. How can we measure and understand this variability? That's the goal of LEVANTE.

Agreed. I welcome desk rejections, they help me make sure I am not aiming too conservatively. But I want to fail fast. ...of course, I have another paper that was just sent back to reviewers for the 3rd time (which feels like a waste of Their time)

Yep, a good point. I either know what "Author (Year)" refers to, breaking blindness, or I don't, in which case I can't evaluate that part of the manuscript.

Research replication can determine how well science is working – but how do scientists replicate studies? Replication research can take the temperature on how accurate science in a given field is, but research replication is easier said than done.
