Yes! Scully very clearly sees a ghost, and then is all, no, obviously ghosts aren't real. But then there's an episode with a vaguely religious theme and suddenly Mulder thinks it's all fake, and Scully is completely on board. They love to do a role switch!

Oh! I'm rewatching these too (finding new things to half-watch while I'm making comics is hard!) I did not remember the episodes being so slow, nor did I remember what a dick Mulder is.

Your half-remembered Latin is about as good as my lazy Italian name googling.

A ghost and a zombie lie next to each other in the grass. The ghost says "Zombie Chris, what do you think the scariest thing is?" The zombie replies "A lizard!"

I love the pixies and Clatters and Bump too! But I think tiny Robot One is my favourite!

Just received issue SEVEN HUNDRED of the Phoenix comic, with a brilliant cover by @rdcomics.bsky.social. So proud to be part of this ridiculous thing.

Unfortunately it is completely impossible to reproduce. My attempts to copy it are just hollow mockeries of the one true shoe, blasphemous cobbles.

Platonically perfect pencil drawing of a shoe

Really pleased with this drawing of a shoe I did in a half a second while trying to work out an idea. The platonic Ideal of a shoe. My greatest work yet.

(The one on the right, that is. The one on the left is vile, worse than sewage. It disgusts me)

It really boosts the sale price.

My only complaint is that I stood around for ages getting my photo taken and not a single person cried out 'Oh my god, it's the world famous cartoonist, James Turner!' Outrageous.

There's currently a MASSIVE Phoenix Comic display up at Waterstones Piccadilly, so I had to go and have a look for myself.

It's official! Toby and the Pixies BOOK THREE is coming out this September! This book is going to be all pixie chaos, all the time!

I also found out that being a comic creator is an absolute get-out-of-jail-free card with stand-ups. We can sit in the front row with impunity!
