It's crowdfunding delivery season, and I really better not miss the postie.

guess I'm built different, every time I'm out trying to see night sky stuff I frequently think about how much light pollution is entirely preventable with just a tiny bit of regulation

I've hit the stage of thinking about turning my game collection into little campaigns. A simple example would be playing rounds of The Last Lighthouse until you lose, and then it triggers a game of Arkham Horror. Or chaining survival and crisis management games together into ultimate survival.

Then they offer to take me off the mailing list, instead of fixing their questions. I guess because I mess with their stats. I would be quite happy to give actual feedback.

I need to stop this habit. If anything comes of that it will be them being mean to staff about metrics that don't matter.

I have a pattern going with a food chain where they email me a survey, and my feedback is that the survey format is assuming what I want rather than letting me express what I care about. Did the staff greet me? Who cares. And no, I'm not going to recommend products/services to people, that's weird.

Boo. I was doing so well then got set off by a TV show. Now I'm angry, sad, and stuck in feelings from 2+ years ago.

Noise cancelling headphones are great for being able to hear things, especially at the train station. But if the podcast finishes and I'm left with a muffled version of the world it freaks me the hell out. Don't let my brain know I've been tricking it out of paying too much attention to surroundings
