Isn’t wrecking liberal media the whole point? They started with small weekly papers (LA Weekly, Village Voice, etc) moved to local news stations/papers (Sinclair Media) and have finally reached the big ones. It’s been a pretty deliberate takeover.

I was at a party with two tvs and people essentially divided along party lines. It was pretty obvious the TPUSA show was embarrassingly lame as many floated over to the Bad Bunny room and tried to make a few half-hearted comments about “not understanding” it. They KNOW they’re losing culture wise.

HB vote is a 56/44 split GOP/DEM candidates. We had a Dem majority City Council for the first time ever when Tito Ortiz pussed out/resigned council then council appointed the first Black member as his replacement. The racists/homophobes are certainly loud. There IS local resistance tho.

As much as MAGA world rails against California, look at how many of Trump’s cabinet, advisors and tech company henchmen are Bay Area & SoCal peeps - Stephen Miller, Steve Bannon, Peter Thiel, Palmer Luckey, Harmeet Dhillon, Richard Grenell, RFK Jr. CA has a real problem.

I was at a protest in Laguna Beach, CA in 2017 and a middle aged white guy objected to me referring to a counter protester as a Nazi. He still didn’t think it was appropriate when I pointed out the man in question had a swastika tattooed on his neck. 🤷
