14.11.2025 01:28 β π 13637 π 3318 π¬ 119 π 64You would think that the 8 GOP Senators who are SO OUTRAGED that Jack Smith subpoenaed their phone records that they want $1 million compensation would bring him in to testify IN A PUBLIC HEARING to explain why he did this. But no, they donβt want to do that. I wonder why?

Our freedom to marry remains the law of the land.
Apparently, the media is asleep too.
Whereβs @jaketapper.bsky.social ???
There is zero excuse for police, in a free society, to wear a mask.

Newsom: "It's not about rule of law anymore. It's rule of Don. He's choosing which court decisions he agrees with. He's quite literally running an extortion racket. He's doing it with some of the most powerful corporate leaders. What does everything have in common? Tariffs. They're about leverage"

One thing that is so shocking to me is that they're appealing to the Supreme Court for the right to cut off food from people. Who does that? Who works so hard to cut food from people who need it right now? The cruelty is part of the policy."

They have a contingency fund to ensure itβs covered in the event of a shutdown.
Theyβre refusing.
Grocery stores stepped up to try and help by offering discounts to any SNAP recipients and the USDA told them they had to stop.
Starvation as a policy choice.
It's almost as if letting the ultra-rich own the entire mainstream press and also all the big social platforms had a downside.

"Speaker, on 5 occasions last week you said 'I haven't seen it' when asked about news events w/big implications for public policy. Do you ever read the news, and do you agree it's problematic for the Speaker to be so woefully uninformed?"
Walmart, McDonalds and Amazon are the largest employers of people who require SNAP assistance.
The CEOs earned between 18-40 million last year, 1000x their median employee income.
They took billions in profits, while their workers relied on SNAP to survive.
Wanna fix fraud and abuse?
Fix that.
This is an excellent idea!!!
03.11.2025 19:44 β π 29849 π 9734 π¬ 1064 π 977Holder: The Supreme Court is a broken institution. And itβs something that has to be part of the national conversation in β26 and in β28.
If there is a Democratic trifecta in 2028βand I think the possibility of that is pretty goodβSupreme Court reform has to be on the table.
Free and fair elections are good for business. Having a stable rule of law is important to the economy. Not having people afraid to go to work because they might be beaten up or disappeared is essential to a productive workforce. Democracy is essential for a strong economy.

15 million Americans are going to lose their health care.
